8. What do Muslims believe about Jesus and other prophets?

Q: What do Muslims believe about Jesus?
A: Muslims believe that Jesus (peace be upon him), known as 'Isa in Arabic, is one of the greatest prophets sent by Allah to guide humanity. He was born miraculously to the Virgin Mary (Maryam) without a father, a miracle of Allah's power. Muslims believe in his miracles, such as healing the sick and raising the dead, all done by Allah's permission. However, unlike Christians, Muslims do not believe Jesus is the son of God or divine. Instead, he is regarded as a servant and messenger of Allah.

Muslims also believe that Jesus was not crucified but was raised to the heavens by Allah and will return before the Day of Judgment to restore justice and defeat falsehood.

Q: What do Muslims believe about other prophets?
A: Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets to every nation throughout history to guide humanity. These prophets include well-known figures such as Adam, Noah (Nuh), Abraham (Ibrahim), Moses (Musa), and David (Dawood), among many others.

All prophets conveyed the same essential message: the worship of the One True God (Allah) and living a righteous life according to His guidance. Each prophet was sent to their respective communities, and their teachings were in line with the needs and understanding of their time.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is considered the final prophet, completing and perfecting the message of Allah. The Quran confirms the roles of all prophets and emphasizes their humanity, ensuring they are seen as examples to follow, not objects of worship.

9. Are all religions the same?

Q: Are all religions the same?

A: While many religions teach morality and spirituality, Islam teaches that true guidance comes from worshiping Allah alone and following His final revelation, the Quran. Muslims believe Islam is the complete and final way of life revealed by Allah for humanity, though they respect the right of others to follow their faiths.
